Description of Relate
Relate is a private relationship journal. It lets you reflect on how your relationship feels, record positive and difficult moments, review your history, and view insights based on the entries you record.
Relate is not a dating service, a social network, a shared messaging app, couples therapy, or an AI relationship advisor. It does not provide medical, psychological, legal or professional relationship advice.
Eligibility
You must be at least [TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH] years old to use Relate, and you must be legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the App you confirm that you meet these requirements.
User accounts

Personal reflection content
You retain ownership of the reflections, moments and notes you record in Relate ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, process and display Your Content to you in order to operate the App and its features, such as History and Insights.
Your Content may describe other people. You are responsible for what you record and for using the App in a way that respects the rights and privacy of others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its systems or other users' information.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the App's source code, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers and networks that support it.
- Use the App to harass, threaten or harm any person.
Intellectual property
The App, including its design, logo, name, text, graphics and software, is owned by or licensed to Relate and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content, nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Relate name, logo or other brand features without our prior written permission.
App availability
We aim to keep Relate available and working well, but we do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. Features may change, and we may need to suspend the App for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Disclaimer
Relate is a tool for personal reflection. Insights are generated from the entries you record and are not a professional assessment of your relationship, your wellbeing or anyone else's. If you are experiencing distress, conflict or safety concerns, please seek help from a qualified professional or local support service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Relate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features of the App over time. We may also update these Terms.
